- Q.
Tell me about the hardest production problem you've handled.
- A.
Our billing queue stalled in the middle of a month-end run.Checked against what you said
You said: “the queue just stopped, right in the middle of month end”
-
I traced it to a retry loop I had added the week before, and rolled it back.Checked against what you said
You said: “it turned out to be my own retry loop from the week before, so I rolled it back”
-
That cut failed runs by add your real number: how many.An honest gap
You haven't said how many, so it stays blank for you to fill in.
- Q.
You rolled it back. How did you know that was the cause?
Laid off?
You did more than you remember. A guided conversation brings back the wins that never made it onto your CV, in your own words, and you check every one.
Story capture
Rusty?
Maybe you've been reviewing more than writing, or letting an AI do the typing. Timed problems you type yourself, and cards that come back just before you'd forget, bring the hand-coding back.
Coding practice and spaced repetition
Out of date?
A lot has changed since you last interviewed. The LLM depth round goes from the prompt to the last token, then evals, cost and safety, and it keeps going until it finds where your knowledge stops.
The LLM depth round
Reaching above your level?
Set your goal at staff level, and the interviewer and the committee grade you at that bar. Then rehearse the salary call before a real recruiter makes it.
Staff-level rounds and salary rehearsal
What is this?
Spoken interview practice built only from your real, confirmed stories. An AI interviewer asks the questions, you answer by speaking, and it picks up on what you just said.
Six kinds of round, on your phone or your laptop. A written debrief after every mock.
- Recruiter screen 25 min
- Behavioural 45 min
- LLM depth 30 min
- Past-project deep dive 40 min
- System design (spoken) 45 min
- Salary rehearsal 15 min
Where do the answers come from?
From you, and nowhere else. Add your CV and your LinkedIn PDF, then tell your stories out loud in a guided conversation.
You check every fact and every story. Nothing is used until you confirm it.
- Add your CV and LinkedIn PDF
- Tell your stories out loud
- Confirm what's true
- Take a mock
How do I know it isn't making things up?
Every sentence written for you is checked against what you actually said. Numbers and names are checked by code. Then a separate model reads each sentence against only the facts it cites.
Tap any sentence and you see the words it came from.
What if I have no story for a question?
You get an honest gap instead of a made-up answer. It tells you what's missing, and you can add that story in a short conversation.
Tell me about a time you disagreed with a technical decision.
You haven't told me about a time you disagreed with a technical decision yet.
An honest blank beats a made-up answer.
Will it let me get away with a vague answer?
No. Follow-up questions go deeper into what you just said. Claim a result with no number and it climbs a ladder of questions, one rung at a time.
- What was it before?
- And after?
- How did you measure that?
- What did you decide differently because of that number?
What do I get afterwards?
A written debrief, graded the way a hiring committee would grade you. It quotes what you said, and it rewrites your weakest answers from your own confirmed facts.
- Scores, with the evidence for each
- Patterns that showed up
- What a stronger candidate would have said
- The one fix for next time
- Since last time
- Speech stats and the transcript
What else is in there?
Quizzes for what you should know cold.
Replays of real interviews you've done: add your notes or a transcript, and face the same questions again.
What happens to my CV and my stories?
Your CV file is read once and not kept. Your voice is turned into text and the audio isn't kept. No AI model is trained on what you give us. You can export or delete everything from your account at any time. If an account goes unused for 12 months, what's in it is deleted, and any paid credits stay yours.
Will this get me a job?
We can't promise that, and nobody honest can. What it does is get you ready to talk about your real work, out loud, under questions that go deeper.
What does it cost?
Your first mock is free. After that it's one payment, and nothing renews.
We sell in Canada, except Quebec for now, and in the United States.

Can I use it in a real interview?
No. Rehired is for practice only, and the terms forbid using it in a real interview. It's for the days before.
Say it out loud before it counts.
